

She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Murdock attended Lick Creek Valley Free Will Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.
She was dearly loved by all who knew her.
She always loved working in her garden and flowers and talking with all of her friends.
Survivors include her caregivers: her sister, Louise Watson, and a nephew and niece, Calvin and Rosetta Watson of the Mosheim Community; special nieces and nephews: Danny Lamb and family, Wayne Lamb and family, Bryce Lamb and family, Ann Hixson and Family, Gail Landers and family, George Payne Jr. and family, Mrs. Charles (Helen) Payne and family, Linda Sharp and family, Brenda Hall and son, Sue Dawson and family, Lewis Payne and family, George W. Malone and family, Bobby Malone, Mike Malone and family, Linda Whaley and family, Lee Roy Malone and family, Hilda Belt and family, and Patsy Riddle and family; foster daughter: Bonnie Collins Hartman and family; and her special friends: Gary and Nancy Brown, Adeline Ervin, Virginia Tomlinson, Lora Lee, Barry “Buck” and Judy Rader and Tammie.
She was the daughter of the late Charlie L. Payne and Minnie Payne and was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years: Herman C. Murdock; a son: Arlin C. Murdock; four brothers: Basil J. Payne, George F. Payne, Minnis C. Payne, James H. Payne; and one sister: Margaret E. Lamb.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2pm Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Tim Roach officiating.
Interment will follow at Carter’s Station Cemetery at Albany.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
