Helen L. Payne

Mrs. Payne retired from the Foster Grandparents Program and was a member of the Lion’s Club.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.

Survivors include a son: David G. Payne of Greeneville; one daughter and son-in-law: Kathy and Charlie Duty of Morristown;

two grandchildren: Terry Payne and Angela Watson, both of Nashville; four great grandchildren: Chelsey and Chasten Warwick, Chase Payne, Danny Watson, all of Nashville; great great grandchildren: Avah and Aerilyn, both of Nashville.

She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Mattie Jordan and was preceded in death by her

loving husband of 63 years, Coy Payne; one sister, Kathryn Jordan,

The funeral service will be held at 8 pm Friday, July 26, 2013, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Ron Jones

officiating. Interment will be 11 am Saturday, at Hamblen Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Ken Davis, Timothy Bolton, Tyler Gilbert, Danny Watson, Jr., David Berryhill, Charlie Duty, Jr. and Mike Foulks.

Carroll Davis will serve as honoary pallbearer.

The family expressed a special thanks to her neighbor, friend and caregiver, Helen Payne

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10 am Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery.
