Herman Clyde Knight

Clyde was a lifetime farmer and worked at Pet Milk Company for 45 years. He was a veteran of World War II.

He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his sister: Ruth Knight Myers; daughters: Brenda Knight Woodhull and Renda Knight Taylor; and his half-brothers and half-sisters: Frances Knight Burger, Charlotte Knight Parman, Henard Knight, Bruce Knight, Glenna Knight Blake, Ralph Knight, Gerald Knight, Curtis Knight, Sunny Knight Cutshall, Ronnie Knight and Billy Knight.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Vida Evelyn Knight; parents: William Herman Knight and Liza Cox Knight; brothers: Doyle Knight, Clifford Knight, Alfred Knight, and Guy Knight; a sister: Reva Knight Bible; and half-brothers: Wayne Knight and Jack Knight.

The family will receive friends from 12pm-2pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ginger Isom officiating.

Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons: Peter Woodhull, Robert Woodhull, John Woodhull, Robert Taylor, and William Taylor; and a nephew: Todd King.
