She was the widow of Tommy Metcalf, Jr. who passed away April 8, 1984.
She loved the Lord with all of her heart and faithfully attended Faith Temple in Greeneville as long as her health permitted. When she became unable to attend her church in person, she joined in the worship services of Solomon Lutheran Church every Sunday via ZOOM for almost three years without missing a service. She was a student of the scriptures and was eager to share her faith in Christ with anyone. She was the epitome of a “Proverbs 31 Woman.” Not only her children, but all who knew and loved her, rise up and call her “blessed.”
She loved everyone with whom she came into contact and was willing to help anyone who had a need.
She loved to laugh and enjoyed bantering about with her family and friends. She is already missed.
She is survived by two daughters and their spouses:
Sonya (Tim) Solomon and Vickie (Kyle) Church;
