

He was a charter member of Bible’s Chapel Baptist Church.
Mr. Ragon retired from Loven Ready Mix after 35 years of service.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1951-1953.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years: Lillian Pauline Ragon; two sons and daughters-in-law: Johnny Dale and Charlotte Ragon of Greeneville and Rev. Estel Paul and Lou Ragon of Limestone; two daughters and sons-in-law: Patsy and Doug Renner of Mosheim and Betty and Gene Lamb of Greeneville; grandchildren: Jessica Lamb, Keema Fann, Kassie Lawson and husband Sam, Dalton Lamb and fiancé Megan Swecker, Chance Lamb, Tracie Renner, Isaac Renner, Justin Cutshaw and wife Samantha, and Jonathan Cutshaw and wife Valorie; brother and sister-in-law: J.C. and Ellen Ragon; special sister-in-law and husband: Faye and Rev. Billy Cutshall; sister-in-law: Linda Sentelle; several nieces and nephews; two special neighbors: Geraldine Stills and Billy Ball; and his special pet dog, Omie.
He was the son of the late Estel “Doc” and Telia Anderson Ragon and was preceded in death by two infant siblings, Josie and Lynn.
The family will receive friends from 1pm-6pm Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Paul Ragon and Rev. Billy Moore officiating.
Interment will be at 1:00 pm Saturday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:15pm Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery. The Greene County Honor Guard and Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service.
Pallbearers will be Dalton Lamb, Chance Lamb, Isaac Renner, Sam Lawson, Tim Ragon, and Logan Lamb.
