

She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Franklin was a loving wife for 64 ½ years who also loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and crocheting.
Survivors include her husband: G. W. Franklin; five sons and four daughters-in-law: Garland and Linda Franklin, Bascom Franklin, Robert and Shelly Franklin, Gerald and Tamara Franklin, all of Greeneville, Lynn and Christy Bolton of Mosheim; six grandchildren: Tracy Franklin, Melinda Lamb, Aaron Hooper, April Hooper, Amanda Franklin and Timmy Franklin; two great grandchildren: Alexis Franklin and Destiny Lamb; a brother: Ivan Gillan; a special niece: Lisa McNutt; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was the daughter of the late Red and Geneva Laws Baldwin and was preceded in death by a
daughter, Fanny Mae Franklin; a grandson, Chad Allen Franklin; a sister, Beatrice McNutt;
sister-in-law, Sue Gillan; brother-in-law, Paul McNutt.
The funeral service will be held at 8 pm Wednesday, August 14, 2013, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Edward Haney officiating. Interment will be 10 am Thursday at Milburnton Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family wished to extend a special thanks to Takoma Regional Hospital and Johnson City Medical Center.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
