

He was a farmer. He enjoyed gardening and taking care of his cats, his companions.
Mr. Jennings is survived by his sister: Della Kate Jennings of Greeneville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Gertrude Jennings, Ruby and J.C. Ragon, Mary and Rex Harrison, Nancy and Billy Shipley, Carolyn and Walter Gunter of Greeneville, Jimmy and Ruth Bowens, Kenneth and Shirley Bowens, Lowell and Kathy Bowens of Washington County, and Ulysses Dyke of Mosheim; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
He was a son of the late J. B. “Jipper” and Addie Pearl Fann Jennings and was preceded in death by his wife: Jocie Jennings; three brothers; and two sisters.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home preceding the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Lowell Bowens and Rev. Kenneth Bowens will officiate.
Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. View Cemetery in the Greystone Community. It is requested that family and friends meet at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Tuesday to go in procession to the committal service.
His nephews and friends will serve as pallbearers.
