James Henry Small

He retired from Takoma Hospital as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist.

Mr. Small was a member of the Greeneville Seventh-day Adventist Church.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife: Katherine F. Small of Lebanon; three sons and daughters-in-law: James S. and Jackie Small of Lebanon, Tennessee, Clarence H. and Ginger Small of Greeneville, Tennessee, and Jay F. and Donna Small of Marshall, North Carolina; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1pm-2pm Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014 at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 2pm in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow in Harned Chapel Cemetery in Parrottsville. The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service.

Pallbearers will be David Small, Michael Small, Richard Bane, David Schulz, Christopher Small, Lauren Small, George Fillers, and J.H. Payne,

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. James Ray McKinney, Dr. Michael O’Dell, and Dr. John Shaw.
