She is survived by her children: Douglas (Debbie) Parks, Charles (Teresa) Parks, and Karen McGaha; her grandchildren: Lenton (Ashley) Parks, Isaac Parks, Jacob Parks, Cassey (Bradley) Laws, Shannon (Marshall) Haren, and Sabrena (Dustin) Landers; great grandchildren: Haley Dean, Adia Haren (Matthew Taylor), Damon Haren, Lillyanna Hamlin, Justus Hamlin, Layten Hamlin, Kate Laws, Grace Laws, Hayden Loyd, Kellen Grinstead, Chance Loyd, Kinsley Parks, and Bodie Parks.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Carroll Parks; her parents, Charles and Ruth Solomon; a brother, Charles (Sue) Solomon; sisters: Camella (Stanley) Hurst and Carolyn (William) Baxter; daughter-in-law, Tina Parks; and a son-in-law, Parker McGaha.

The family will receive friends 4:00-7:00 pm Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 7:00 pm in the chapel. Rev. Dwayne Steele and Rev. Ronnie Knight will officiate.

Interment will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 pm at Mosheim Central Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 1:00 pm Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers are Dustin Landers, Sabrena Landers, Shannon Haren, Bradley Laws, Marshall Haren, and Jacob Parks.

Honorary pallbearers are Isaac Parks, Lenton Parks, Frankie Baxter, Bruce Hartman, Randy Freshour, and Guy Jones.

Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is charge of the arrangements.
