

He was of the Baptist faith.
He attended West Greene High School. Jimmy was a very devoted and loving husband. He loved life and brought joy to those around him. He could pick your spirits up with his laughter. He had a heart of gold and never hesitated to help someone in need. He loved being around people and visiting his friends. He also liked to fish. He dearly loved his pets, which included his cat, Oreo, his two dogs, Sandandy and Shakespeare, and his parrot, Peanut.
Survivors include his wife: Kathy Dunn Cutshall; son: Stacy Cutshall; three step-daughters and spouses: Angel and Jason Early, Feather and Daniel Payne of Limestone, and Satin Jennings; four step grandchildren: Noel Day of Virginia, Mason Early, Garrit and Baylee Jennings; two step great grandchildren: Jaylynn Day of Virginia and Braydon Early; sister and brother-in-law: Michelle and Jimmy Painter of Chuckey; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Howard and Deidre Cutshall and Harold and Judy Cutshall, all of Mosheim; sister-in-law and spouse: Kimberly and Russell Hackett of North Carolina; step brother-in-law: Mike Davis; mother-in-law: Earnestine Harmon; father-in-law and spouse: Franklin Lyle and Maxine Dunn; aunts, uncles, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his special friends: Alan Carter, David Lakins, Ronnie Cochran, Lavern Taylor, Ricky Brown, and William “Tooney” Cutshaw.
He was the son of the late Elbert (Short) and Abby Kathleen Cutshall and was preceded in death by three brothers: Mickey, Johnny, and Mike Cutshall; and a special nephew: John Allen “A.J.” Cutshall.
The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Dharmen Patel and his staff, Caris Hospice and staff, and very special caretaker and friend, Tracy Hatfield.
The family will receive friends from 1-3pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 3pm Wednesday, December 18, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Nick Bailey officiating.
Interment will follow in Carter’s Station at Albany Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Payne, Jason Early, Mason Early, Brad Akins, Josh Cutshaw, and Ricky Lee Brown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home to assist with medical expenses.
