

She retired as a secretary at Greeneville Livestock Market.
Mrs. Rupert was a member of Kingsley Avenue Free Will Baptist Church and attended as long as her health permitted.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years: Jay Rupert; two daughters and sons-in-law: Judy Rupert Fillers and husband, Terry, and Belinda Rupert Pruett and husband, Mark; two grandsons, whom she loved dearly: Tanner Pruett and Taylor Pruett and fiancée, Chelsea Silver; a niece: Nixie Kerr of Texas; special family members: Ottis and Emma Lou Haney and Kline and Wanda Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Laverne and Annie Mae Heck Kenney and was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Rex and Louise Kenney, and a nephew, Jimmy Kenney.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 5-7 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Doyle Pruett officiating.
Interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Taylor Pruett and Tanner Pruett; sons-in-law: Terry Fillers and Mark Pruett; nephew: Ottis Haney; and family friend: Denny Franklin.
Honorary pallbearers are Lloyd Holt, Harold Murray, Kenneth Lam, and the employees of Life Care Center of Greeneville.
