

After obtaining a degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Jon worked for ALCOA for 7 years before returning to Tennessee to work for Jarden Zinc in Greeneville. He worked for Jarden for 37 years in various managerial positions. During this time he obtained a Masters in Business Administration.
Jon was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Greeneville and served as Elder and Deacon there.
He enjoyed golf and collecting and refinishing antiques, but the role he most enjoyed was that of “Granddaddy” to granddaughter, Reese.
There are no words to express how greatly he will be missed.
Survivors include his wife: Wanda Underwood Headrick; son and daughter-in-law: David Warren and Beth Headrick; granddaughter: Reese Headrick; brother and sister-in-law: Marvin and Nettie Headrick; sisters and brothers-in-law: Jana and Neal Barnes, Marta and Kenny Wingler, and Rena and Larry Reeve ; step sister and step brother-in-law: Nikki and David Long; step brother: Tim Sing and wife; and several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was the son of the late Warren Bruce and Sheila Riggs Headrick and step mother Chris Sing Headrick.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home in Greeneville preceding the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Dr. Dan Donaldson will officiate.
Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Memorial Park West Cemetery in Knoxville. It is requested that family and friends meet at Highland Memorial Park West in Knoxville, Tennessee at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday for the committal service.
