Jonnie Irene King

Ms. King has been a member of the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church since childhood and was a member of the U. M. W., and attended faithfully as long as her health permitted. She sang in the choir and was the secretary of the Wesley Bible class for a number of years. She retired from Plus Mark.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Survivors include a daughter, Sallie Gilbert; four granddaughters: Terra Gilbert, Mandy Taylor, Dana Nelson and Jessica King; two special great granddaughters: Jazmyn Gilbert and Destinee Taylor; two sisters, Norma Waddell and Bettie Brown; two special nieces, Sharon Cooter and Donna Buchannon; two nephews, Jake Mysinger II and Ben Mysinger; and several great nieces and nephews, all of Greene County.

She was preceded in death by her son, Eddie L. (Buddy) King; two daughters: Irene King Nelson and Beverly King; a brother, Jake Mysinger; and her parents, J.E. Mysinger and Sallie Lowry Mysinger.

Pallbearers will be Jake Mysinger II, John Rader, Troy Cansler, Mike Gregg, Jake Cox, Tim Yokley, Dacota Smelcer, Donnie Watts, and Gavin Fox.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Wesley Bible Class and U. M.W. Ladies.

The graveside service will be held at Mt Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery at 2:00 pm Sunday. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service. The Rev. Gail Jenkins will be officiating.
