He was a retired Sgt. with the Greeneville Police Dept. and was a former Greene County 911 dispatcher.
Mr. Barham was a member of Fraternal Order of Police, a U. S. Air Force veteran, and a member of the Greeneville Moose Lodge #692.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Kendall and Betty Barham of Manchester, TN, Adam Barham of Greeneville, and Blake “Andy” and Farrah Barham of Knoxville: grandchildren: Bethany, Matthew, and Landon Barham, Kade, Kole, and Halle Hughes; step grandchildren: Kelsi and Tyler Norton; one brother and sister-in-law: George and Patsy Barham of Baileyton; two sisters: Nancy Barham Osborne and Martha Barham Owens, both of Greeneville; brothers-in-law: Tony Williams and William Craft, both of Greeneville; several loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; and his former wife: Sylvia Barham of Greeneville.
He was the son of the late Leon and Margaret Fullen Barham and was preceded in death by a brother, Charles “Buddy” Barham; sisters, Linda Barham, Alyne Barham Craft, and Hilda Barham Williams; and a brother-in-law, Robert S. Osborne.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2011, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Jamie Lively
will officiate.
Interment will follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery. The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service.
Pallbearers will be Joe Prokop, Charles Jeffers, John Jones, Mack Jones, Terry Cannon, Tim Ward, Steve Spano, and Jon Waddell.
Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Greene County 911.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
