Kenneth Honeycutt

Kenneth L. Honeycutt, age 82, of Mohawk, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Four Oaks Health Care Center in Jonesborough.

He was a retired HVAC Installer and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was also a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Mohawk and the Mohawk Ruritan Club.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Rhonda Honeycutt of Mars Hill, NC; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Byrd of Weaverville, NC; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law: Gerald and Vickie Honeycutt; Rev. Rick and Teresa Honeycutt, both of Weaverville, NC, and Kermit and Barbara Honeycutt of Burnsville, NC; several nieces and nephews.

He was the son of the late Rev. Horace Honeycutt and Doris Bradley Honeycutt and was also preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Gores Honeycutt and a brother, Gary Honeycutt.

The family will receive friends 12:00-2:00 pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home preceding the funeral service at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery, 6410 McDonald Rd, Mohawk, TN. The Rev. Bo Ragon will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
