He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all who met him.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, who retired from Mahle Corp after 30 years and was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Cedar Creek Presbyterian Church where he served as elder in past years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Judd and Ollie Peters Easterly; a sister, Anna Kate McMahan; brother, Kyle Easterly; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Horace and Ora Belle Waddell.
He is survived by his wife, Pamelia Easterly; son, Kevin Easterly (Kim); daughter, Karen Everhart (Stacey); two grandsons, Taylor Shuffler and Haydn Shuffler (Emily Taylor); two granddaughters, Mattilyn and Riley Easterly; great grandson, Adam Shuffler and great granddaughter, Haddie Shuffler; nieces, Donna Brown (Eddie) and Kim Rominger (Boyce); two nephews, Timothy Easterly and Craig Easterly; great nieces, Kelly Dobson and Brooke Segrest; great nephews, Allen and Wesley Brown; sisters-in-law: Barbara Easterly, Carol and Bob Bausch; brother-in-law, Gerald and Barbara Waddell.
The family will receive friends 12:00-2:00 pm on Monday, May 26, 2025, at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the service to follow in the chapel of the funeral home. Pastors Harrell and Marci Cobb will officiate. Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers are Taylor and Haydn Shuffler, Tim Easterly, Nolan Hensley, Jeremy and Jason Waddell, Josh Wills, Allen and Wesley Brown.
Honorary pallbearers are Lyndon Waddell, Bill Leonard, T.J. Freshour, Charles Babb, Duane Clowers, friends at Mahle and Dr. Benjamin Bailey.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Creek Presbyterian Church.
