

She was the co-owner of Humphreys’ Restaurant. Marlene attended Community Fellowship Church. She was a loving lady who enjoyed life to the fullest as well as a devout Christian.
She is survived by a son: Michael (Jessica) Humphreys of Rogersville; a step grandson: Joshua Langdon; a sister: Linda B. Ricker of Afton; a brother: Daniel T. (Helen) Ball of Greeneville; a niece: April Tweed; a nephew: Todd (Amy) Ricker; great nephews: Bryson Ricker, Richie (Bekah) Lowery, and Kayleb Lowery; a great niece: Addyson Ricker; a great-great niece: Wynnie Lowery; aunt and uncle: Robert and Willie Kate Seaton; several cousins; and special friends: Mary Ball and Caige Allison.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Fred A. Humphreys; parents: Rev. Troy N. and Josephine Ball; and two daughters: Diana Humphreys and Annetta Faye Humphreys.
Family will receive friends 5-7pm Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted at 7pm Wednesday in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Greg Graybeal and Rev. Mike Harmon will officiate.
Interment will be 10am Thursday, April 9, 2026, at River Hill Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 9:15am Thursday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers are: Ben Seaton, Richie Lowery, Wayne Gibson, Donnie Bell, Joshua Langdon, and Tim Wykle.
Honorary Pallbearers are: Pastor Ray Shelton, Lyman Seaton, Frankie Seaton, John Seaton, Richard Lowery, Kayleb Lowery, Phil Hensley, Jack Hensley, Eddie Bible, and members of Community Fellowship Church.
