

She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Chandley was a member of Horse Creek Church of God where she was the church organist for over 50 years.
Her family states, “She enjoyed writing poetry, some of which has been published. She was an avid photographer and loved taking pictures of her family and pets.”
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: James D. and Mary Lynn Chandley of Limestone; William, Jr. and Ruth Ann Chandley of Chesapeake, Va; grandchildren and spouses: Nick Chandley and wife, Lisa, Nathan Chandley and wife, Laura, all of Va; Randall Chandley and wife, Paula, Diana Collette and fiancé, Gary Harrison, Ken Chandley and wife, Trina, Keri Simerly and husband, Andy, all of Limestone; great grandchildren: Nicole, Trevor, and Heather Chandley, of Va; Kristin and Kevin Collette of Jonesborough; three sisters: Vera Lee Dixon, Evelyn Murdock, and Nella Mae Davis, all of Greeneville
three brothers: David William Shelton, Melvin H. Shelton, Jr., and Walter P. Shelton, all of Greeneville; several nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Melvin H. and Sudie Shelton and was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William G. Chandley; one son, Marvin Lewis Chandley.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2010, in the Kiser Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Bobby Morrison
will officiate. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Nick Chandley, Nathan Chandley, Randall Chandley, Ken Chandley, Wayne Dixon, Andy Simerly, Kevin Collette, and Trevor Chandley.
The family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. Monday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home. Family and friends are asked to at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday to go in procession to the cemetery for the committal service.
