

Mrs. Cox retired from Greene Manufacturing Co.
She was a member of Hunt's Chapel United Methodist Church.
Her family stated, "Our mother's actions always put others first and she had lived her life since a young age being an inspiration to everyone around her. Her love and kindness and Christian beliefs naturally shone on all who knew her."
She was the widow of Corbitt Deloy Cox.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Tommy and Helen Cox; two daughters and sons-in-law: Patricia and Claude Harmon and Judy and Willis Smith; a stepson and his wife: David E. and Sue Cox; her grandchildren: Carol Morelock, Cindy Chandler, Sherry Sauceman, Heather Moorman, Jeremy Cox, and Matthew Smith; her great-grandchildren: Joshua Evans, Melodie Evans, Jessica Cox, Megan Osborne, Adrian Sauceman, Aryn Sauceman, and Jessie Moorman; her great-great-granddaughter: Chaela Mae Evans; five stepgrandchildren; several stepgreat-grandchildren; several stepgreat-great grandchildren; a sister: Ruth Ricker; three brothers: Joe Fann, David Fann, and George Fann; a brother-in-law: William Looney; several nieces and nephews; and her "loving and excellent caregivers": the grandchildren, who helped with her care and needs, and the staff of Caris Hospice.
She was a daughter of the late David Hancher Fann and the late Doshie Tilda Mace Fann, and was preceded in death by a stepdaughter: Brenda L. Cox; a sister: "Dollie" Zollie Looney; and two brothers: Lloyd Fann and Paul L. Fann.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Lewis Kizer will officiate.
A committal service will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning in Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 at the funeral home to travel in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her nephews: Matthew Smith, Josh Evans, and Adrian Sauceman, and other family members and friends.
