

She was employed with United Inter-Mountain Telephone Company for several years and retired from Greeneville City School System.
Mrs. Crum attended Pleasant Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Rehobeth United Methodist Church, and Victory Church of God.
Survivors include her daughter: Susan Denise Crum of Greeneville; one grandson: Austin Dale Vance of Greeneville; a special brother-in-law and wife: Charles and Frances Crum of Greeneville; special niece and nephews: Roma and Johnny "Tarp" Thompson and Mike and Melissa Kelley of Greeneville and Alan Crum of Gray, Tennessee; special cousin: Charlotte Jones and husband, Ray, of Greeneville; and special friends: Rose Strong, Ruth Dinwiddie, Don White, and Carol Gosnell.
She was the daughter of the late Robert T. and Flora Downey Brown of the Jeroldstown Community and Pleasant Hill Community and was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Ray Crum.
The family will receive friends 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Fillers and Rev. Raymond Perry officiating.
Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Her pallbearers will be Bill Moncier, Glen Waddell, David Crum, Loyd Holt, Brian Fillers, David Martin and Arnold Hensley.
The honorary pallbearers are Steve Burns, Everette Cobble, Rance Pless, David Thompson, Randy Pless, Melvin Darnell, Terry Sams, Grady Barefield, Hart Covington, Ivan Collins, Ronald Crum, Eddie Jordan, Dr. Maynard Austin and staff, Dr. Dharman Patel and staff, members of the Greene County Honor Guard, members of South Greene First Responders, staff of Greene County – Greeneville EMS, staff of Wellington Place of Greeneville, staff of Life Care Center of Greeneville, staff of Laughlin Memorial Hospital, and staff of Caris Hospice.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cecil Ray and Mary Katherine Crum Endowed Scholarship (that will support South Greene High School graduates who attend Tusculum College) in care of Tusculum College, P.O. Box 5040, Greeneville, TN, 37743.
