Mary Ann Dearstone

She was secretary for the Town of Greeneville Recorders office for 44 years.

She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist, where she was also a member of the choir.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years: Ted Dearstone; sister and brother-in-law: Linda and Gary Fullen of Tusculum; brother and sister-in-law: Carroll and Sally Allen of Morristown; sisters-in-law: Mildred Allen and Evelyn Dunn; brothers-in-law: Pete Bowers and Bill Dearstone, all of Greeneville; several nieces and nephews; and special friends: Carolyn Finchum and Christine Pack.

She was the daughter of the late Ted and Nell Allen and was preceded in death by a sister: Jane Bowers; brother: Neil Allen; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Tom and Sally May Dearstone; sister-in-law: Hilda Dearstone; and brother-in-law: Ralph Dunn.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gail Jenkins officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Steven Fullen, Billy Bowers, Brian Allen, Leslie Allen, Bobby Mysinger, Chris Barkley, Seth Ricker, Tommy Dunn, and Bill Dearstone Jr.

Honorary pallbearers are members of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.
