Mary Alice Harris

She was a retired Registered Nurse from Laughlin Hospital.

Mrs. Harris was a member of First Christian Church.

She was a member of the Women of the Moose. She enjoyed boating, camping, trips to the beach with her family, the sunshine, and summer.

Mary Alice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, friend, and a devoted Christian who read her Bible daily.

"Those who we love, don’t go away

They walk beside us everyday.

Unseen, unheard, but always near.

So loved, so missed, so very dear."

She will be dearly missed by all her family, friends, and her beloved pet, Yuki, her “Momma’s Boy.”

Survivors include her husband: Steve K. Harris; son: Kevin Harris of Nebraska and his fiancé, Emily Hollis; parents: Fred and Mary Arwood of Greeneville; brothers and sisters-in-law: Fred E. and Carolyn Arwood and Doyle and Liz Arwood, all of Greeneville; grandchildren: Cameron, Hannah, and Morgan Tweed, and Trevor Hollis; son-in-law: John Tweed of Greeneville; sisters-in-law: Marylan Ehemen, Pat Blasi and husband, Ralph, of Ohio; special friends: Patsy Haney, Jane Jones, and Ginger Willis; soul sister and friend forever: Nancy Susong; and several nieces, nephews, a host of relatives, and several other friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter: Kimberly M. Tweed; her grandparents; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law: Myrtie and Brinkley Harris.

The family will receive friends from 5pm-8pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Fillers officiating.

Interment will be at 2pm Friday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 1:15pm Friday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
