Mary Naoma Renner

She was a homemaker, gardener and farmer. She faithfully attended Jackson Chapel Freewill Baptist Church until her death and was the last active member to have attended the church in its original location in the Jackson Hollow.

Survivors include her daughter, Deedie of the home, who took great care of her mom; her son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Patsy Renner; grandchildren: Kassie Marie (Sam) Lawson, Tracie Renee (Hunter) Spaw, Billy Isaac (Marissa) Renner; great grandchildren: Adler Lawson, Jed Lawson, Leo Spaw, and Theorah Renner; a brother, Buford Knight; sisters-in-law: Leoda McCoy and Christine Knight; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill; a brother, Charles Knight; infant brother, James Knight; mother and father, Jim and Mable Knight; and stepmother, Katherine Keasling Knight.

The family will receive friends 12:00-3:00 pm and 5:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will then be held at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Jeff Blake and Rev. Paul Ragon will officiate.

Interment will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 am at Jacksons Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Steve Knight, Andrew Susong, David Dent, Jared Hardin, Isaac Renner, Sam Lawson, Hunter Spaw, and Jed Lawson.

The family would like to thank Caris Healthcare for their services during this difficult time and the Women’s Class of Jackson Chapel Church for the good food they provided. Thanks to all the kind neighbors and friends who have helped and a special thanks to Debbie Wilhoit and Bennie King.
