

U.S. ARMY Sgt. Michael Lee Myers was involved in a dirt bike accident on a track in Georgia that tragically claimed his life on September 28th, 2013. He was born on March 7th, 1980 and grew up in Mosheim Tennessee. He had a long military career involving multiple and repeat tours in Afghanistan, Kuwait and Iraq in which he proudly served in the Global War on Terror. He was a distinguished ARMY veteran, who received many ribbons and medals and our entire family has always been extremely proud of his service and accomplishments. Michael was a good soul who was always quick to put the needs of others ahead of himself. He left behind many friends and family members who will love him and miss him for eternity. Michael is also survived by his four-year-old daughter Kaelyn Elizabeth Myers, who knows her Daddy is now with the angels in heaven.
Michael's viewing will be at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home in Greeneville, TN on Sunday October 6th from 4-6 PM.
A graveside service will be held at 10 AM Monday, October 7, 2013, at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery Monday morning for the service. The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service.
