

She was born December 13, 1933, in Greene County to the late Ted and Wilma Whitson.
Nancy loved God and her family and friends dearly. She loved having her Bible studies with Ronnie Franklin along with Gospel songs from her talented caregivers.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Adams; a daughter, Brenda Friend; brothers: Floyd, Jack, and Dudley Whitson; sisters, Billie Gilland and Frances Frye.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry (Brenda) Whitson and Bill Adams; daughter, Debbie (Wick) Hayton; grandchildren: Jason Campbell, Jeremy Campbell, and Amy Ricker; great grandchildren: Harper and Aven Campbell, Bryson and Addy Ricker, and Ivana Stills; special nephew, Dan Gwynne; several other nieces and nephews and other family members; caregivers: Adell Hensley, Mary Ricker, Susie Franklin, Chelsea Pate, Jeannie McGaha, and Brittany McGaha.
The family will receive friends 4:00-6:00 pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday at River Hill Cemetery. Preacher Ronnie Franklin will officiate. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:45 pm Tuesday for the graveside service.
The family expresses special gratitude to her caregivers and the nurses and staff at Amedisys Hospice.
