

Mr. Fillers retired from the Greene County School System.
He was a member of Kingsley Avenue Free Will Baptist Church.
Mr. Fillers will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law: Jamey and Tammy Fillers of Mosheim; a daughter and son-in-law: Debbie and Mark Overacker of Chuckey; grandsons: Dakota Fillers and Niles Clendenon; three great grandchildren: Madison Adkison, Benjamin Clendenon, and Preslee Clendenon; one sister: Ann Brooks; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Geraldine Cannon Fillers; parents: Doc Edward and Nellie Elvira Fillers; three sisters: Marie Bowers, Grace Wills, and twin sister Mary Waddell; five brothers: Albert Fillers, Jay Fillers, Ed Fillers, Dallas Fillers, and George Lester Fillers; one grandson: Todd P. Clendenon; three nephews: Billy Jo Brooks, Donny Fillers, and Ray Fillers; and a niece: Barbara Hamlin.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Doyle Pruitt officiating.
Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dakota Fillers, Niles Clendenon, Gene Bowers, Willis Bowers, Ricky Waddell, Bobby Fillers, Kim Cannon, Stevie Fillers, and Jerry Fillers.
