Patty was a Methodist.
Patty will be remembered as a sweet person who always had a smile for everyone. Her family considered her a special gift from God.
Survivors include her parents: L.C. and Dorothy Broyles Ayers; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Debra D. and Edward L. Ricker and Rhonda J. and Jeffrey J. Neas of Greeneville; nieces and her spouse: Clarissa and Jimmy Malone; two nephews: Seth G. Neas and Bryan E. Ricker; great nephew: Colton Malone; and several close cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Perry and Clara Broyles; and her paternal grandparents: Nelse and Laura Ayers.
The family will receive friends 5pm-8pm Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8pm Friday, July 19, 2013, in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Lynn Neas officiating.
Interment will follow at 10am Saturday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 9:15am Saturday to go in procession to the committal service.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Neas, Billy Joe Neas, Edward Ricker, Bryan Ricker, Rudy Brown, Jack Cobble and Charles Ricker.
The family wishes to express special thanks to the doctors and staff of Durham-Hensley Health and Rehab, where Patty was a resident for six years, and the doctors and staff at Laughlin Memorial Hospital, along with the compassion, love, and care given by Smokey Mountain Hospice.
