

She was retired from Magnavox/Phillips, where she worked for more than 35 years. Polly was loved by everyone, affectionately known as “Meme” and “Grandma” to friends and family. She loved working in the garden, canning, working with flowers, watching sports, talking on the phone with her friends and family, and her Friday hair days.
Polly is survived by her children: Terry (Jennifer) Wykle, Melanie (Russell) McNutt, and David (Tamara) Wykle; grandchildren: Micaela (Josh) Johnson, Ashton Wykle, Rachel (Patrick) Farley, Kinsley Wykle, Braelyn Wykle, Kara McNutt and Jackson McNutt; great granddaughter: Leighton Johnson; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Lucille Peters; and her beloved dog Pete.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Wykle; daughter, Mickey Barbely; parents, Walter and Elizabeth Peters; sisters, Norma Adams, Lorraine Wright, and Brenda Brown; brother, Clyde Peters; nephew William Brown; and nieces Kathy Weaver and Christy Foulks.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The service will follow at 7 p.m. in the chapel with Joel Burns and Rev. Josh Johnson officiating.
The graveside service will be on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to St. Jude’s or the charity of your choice.
