

She was a retired educator in the Greene County School System, having started in 1938.
Mrs. Morgan was a charter member of Harris Memorial Free Will Baptist Church, where she was the last surviving founder and deacon.
She was a member of the Arthritic Aerobic Class at the “Y” for a number of years. She was an avid sport fan, especially of the Lady Vols.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Barbara and David West of Greenback, Tennessee, and Jolene Erwin of the Camp Creek Community; daughter-in-law: Evelyn Morgan of the Tusculum Community; grandchildren: Susan and Scott Carey, Karla West, Leah and Jeremy Thomas, Michael Morgan, Thomas Morgan Jr. and Jessica, Jeanine and David Priar, Joetta and J. D. Rich; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece: Nellie Woolsey; and her caregivers: Jennifer Myers and Sandy Miller.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas Hunter Woolsey and Lutia Garst Woolsey and was preceded in death by her husband: Wilbur K. Morgan; son: Thomas K. Morgan; great-great granddaughter: Anna Ruth Metcalfe; two sisters: Edith Dunbar, Alice Woolsey, and an infant sister, Ruth Wilma Woolsey; two brothers: Rev. Paul Woolsey and Herbert Woolsey; and a son-in-law: Wade Erwin.
The family will receive friends from 6pm-8pm Friday, June 17, 2016, at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ken Smith and Rev. David Jicka officiating.
Interment will be at 10:00 am Saturday in Harris Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 9:00 am Saturday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Sam Carey, Jacob Priar, Steve Banks, Tim Smithson, Scott Gailey, and Ken Worsham.
