He attended First Baptist Church of Greeneville.
Survivors include a brother: Guy K. Gregg, Jr. and wife, Mary; two nieces: Melisa Gregg and Amy Gregg, all of Minneapolis, MN.
He was the son of the late Guy K. and Helen D. Gregg.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family wished to express a special thanks to the caring team of doctors and nurses at Takoma Regional Hospital for providing such wonderful and compassionate care for Peter and also to thank Gordon Williams for the Christian fellowship that he shared with him.
