He was a 15 year employee of Worthington Industries and a 3 year employee of Greeneville Parks and Rec. He was a long time player and coach of East Tennessee softball and was known to everyone as a huge Florida Gator fan.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Chase and Sabrina Blazer; daughter: Kallie Blazer; his fiancée: Dr. Wyndi Patterson; biological parents: Bobby and Jeanette Williford; brothers: Michael Blazer, Tim Blazer and wife, Karen, James Phillips and wife, Angela, Jason Phillips, Jacob Phillips;
several aunts and uncles including a special uncle: Joe Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Joyce Blazer; grandmother, Norma Hensley; and an aunt, Loretta Johnson.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 5-7 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 7 pm Wednesday, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rob Helton officiating.
Interment will be 2 pm Thursday in Graceland Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 1pm Thursday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family wished to express a special thanks to his friends and peers at Evergreen Life Services, co-workers at Worthington Industries, co-workers at Greeneville Parks and Rec, and his softball teammates.
