Born in Greeneville on June 2, 1943, he was the son of the late Charles Fletcher and Eloise (Waddell) Hagood.
He is survived by his wife and splendid companion of 29 years, Deborah Hagood; son, Danny (Robyn) Hagood; daughter, Crystal (Rob) Matzuga; grandson, Jake Hagood; sisters, Phyllis O’Connell, Pat Vass, and Mildred Crowell; and two special nieces, Debbie Adsit and Patty Coleman.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Russell B. Hagood.
A family graveside service will be held at Meadow Creek Presbyterian Church in Greeneville, TN.
Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
