Robert "Bob" Ralph Jones

Mr. Jones worked at Magnavox, Hicks Sheet Metal, and retired from Tennessee Electro Minerals Co.

He attended Gospel Way Church in the Cross Anchor community as long as his health permitted.

His family stated, "He enjoyed his tractors and working on the farm all his life and long after retirement from TEMCO.

"He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was looking forward to the birth of his great-grandson, Colton Eli Jones."

Survivors include his wife: Betty Jo Jones; a son and daughter-in-law: Bobby Joe and Sherrie Jones of Greeneville; a daughter and son-in-law: Wanda and Shane Campbell of Greeneville; his grandchildren and their spouses: Rachel Jones, Rebekah Jones, Mark Babb, Reba McLean, Jeff and Teresa Babb, Nathan and Lisa Babb, and Shane Babb; and his great-grandchildren: Brandon Babb, Kristen Babb, Jordan Babb, Jaylan Babb, and Zack Babb; a granddaughter-in-law: Amy Babb; a great-great-granddaughter: Cameron Hadjopoulos; a sister: Ella Beach of Afton; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Raymond and Helen Reynolds, Hobert and Phyllis Reynolds, John Reynolds, H.B. and Mary Malone, Clyde Hensley, Anna Mae Crittendon, and Clara Malone; several nieces and nephews, including his special nephews: Jack Jones and Jerry Jones; and his special friends: Ronald Miller and family, Cecil Malone and family, the employees and his friends with whom he had lunch at Amy's Kitchen, and his friends from TEMCO and Hicks Sheet Metal.

He was a son of the late Dana and Effie Lane Jones and was preceded in death by a daughter: Bonnie Babb; four grandsons: Benjamin Jones, Samuel Jones, Randy Babb, and Clark Babb; five sisters: Kitty Lane, Helen McAmis, Montie Holland, Dorothy Hensley, and Fonda Dean, and three brothers: Bryant Jones, Basil Jones, and Bud Jones.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Oscar McAmis and the Rev. Allen Black will officiate.

Interment will be in Cross Anchor Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Babb, Jeff Babb, Mark Babb, Shane Babb, Hobert Reynolds, and Nathan Reynolds.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Jones, Jack Jones, Ronald Miller, Cecil Malone, Tim Gaby, Dr. James Rodgers, the employees of Amy's Kitchen, the 4-West nurses at Laughlin Memorial Hospital, Dr. Charles Montgomery, Dr. Nathan Horner, Dr. Steven Prince, Michael Campbell, Raymond Reynolds, John Reynolds, H.B. Malone Sr., Lanny Dean, P.R. Jones, and Junior Jones.
