

He was owner and operator of Crum’s Excavation.
Mr. Crum was a member of Mt. Bethel Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years: Sherry Crum; daughters: Rhonda Marshall of Limestone, Tammy and Jerry Huff of Midway, Jessica Jordan of Baileyton, Roberta Fillers and Pam Rigney of Greeneville, and Gail Fields and Melissa Halcomb of Kentucky; sons: Dean Crum of Baileyton, Shawn Crum of Halls, Mark and Rhonda Darnell of Greeneville, Greg Smith of Kentucky, and Ricky Smith of Rocky Top, Tennessee; grandchildren: Whitney and Zakery Marshall of Limestone, Brandon and Ashley Crum of Greeneville, Allyson and Emily Crum of Halls, Mark Allen and Bryson Darnell of Greeneville, and E. J. Metcalf of Baileyton; a great grandson: Jonah Crum Williams; mother of his children: Opal Bridges of Greeneville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Dearl and Pearl Darnell; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Reed Crum; mother, Ida Bell Crum; a daughter, Denise Smith; sisters, Dorothy Crum and Kathy Laughters; brothers-in-law, Joe Laughters and Johnny Ray Hensley; and an uncle, Maynard Freshour.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, August 3, 2016, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Raymond Perry officiating.
Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Mark Darnell, Zakery Marshall, Buddy Marshall, Brad King, Gary King, Jerry Cansler, Jerry Huff, and Rex Garber.
