

Evelyn was born April 17, 1927, in Washington County.
She was a Christian. She loved to cook and take care of others as long as her health would allow. She also enjoyed doing embroidery. She retired from Takoma Hospital and worked for many years at Greeneville Hospital. She retired after 36 years. Many of her co-workers knew her as “Aid”.
She was the daughter of the late Pet and Tempie DeLoach and was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Graham, and her sisters, Macel Corbin and Bessie Corbin, and an infant brother Raymond DeLoach.
Surviving are her daughters: Darlene Thomason of Jacksonville, Florida and Kathy Gentry of Greeneville; a son-in-law, Tom Thomason; significant other, Rennie Hopson: five grandchildren: Becky Crum Encinas, Beau Crum, Jennifer Gurganus, Nicole Parriott of Jacksonville, Florida , and Casey Freshour of Greeneville; seven great-grandchildren Kirra Encinas, Reeves Encinas, Ivy Crum, Rachel Styers, Joseph Styers, Emmalee Gurganus of Jacksonville, Florida, and Graham Freshour of Greeneville; sister, Leona Shores; many nephews and nieces; and friends: Dorothy Barham, Brenda Hawk, Jean Muncey, Portia Garber, Bruce Crum, and Caroline Whitson.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home from 5-7 pm.
The funeral will be at 7 pm following visitation in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Doyle Tunnell will officiate.
A committal service will be on Wednesday, July 16th at 2:00 pm at the Andrew Johnson National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Danny Waldroup, Ronnie Whitson, Mark Freshour, Billy Barham, Beau Crum, and David Hawk.
Honorary pallbearers will be the caring staff of Laughlin Health Care, Amedisys, and Dr. Shaw.
