She attended Bulls Gap Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.
Ginny is survived by nine nieces and nephews, Judy Ridley, Bill Ridley, Ricky Evans, Joyce Ivey, Patti Reade, Genny Evans, Todd Evans, Frances Arrington, and Roger Evans, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Bill Carpenter; her parents Selvis and Alice Evans, and twelve siblings.
A graveside service will be held 2pm Monday, March 23, 2026 at Phillipi Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Paul Winchester. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
