Shirley Faye Cole

Ms. Cole was a homemaker. She was a member of Hill Street Church of God while her health permitted.

She was a Christian. Those who knew her said she was a loving and caring mother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her son, Kenny Cole of Greeneville; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Louise Wallace of Rogersville; Carolyn and Carroll Babb of Greeneville and Linda Vaughn and Randy Garland of South Central; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Carl “Bud” and Frances Wallace of Greeneville; Leon and Pat Wallace of Afton; Larry Wayne and Kathy Wallace of Largo, FL; several special nieces and nephews; special friends and other family: Jean Gosnell, Mary Young, the residents and staff of Wood Ridge Apartments, Brenda Shipley, Virtie Lowe and Yvonne Waddell.

She was the daughter of the late Carl Wallace and Eva Wallace Seaton and was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth “Dick” Cole; a daughter, Tammy “Sissy” Cole and a brother, Bill Buchanan.

The funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday at Kiser- Rose Hill Chapel with interment to follow at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Feathers will officiate.

Christopher Morgan, Jerry Jones, Carroll Babb, Guy Dean Morgan, Charles “Chuck” Casteel and Tony Hughes will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to express a special thanks to all the emergency room staff of Takoma Regional Hospital and the staff of CICU at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
