

He was a retired machinist.
Mr. Taylor was of the Baptist tradition of faith.
He was a volunteer at the Republican Party Headquarters.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years: Nancy Taylor; a daughter and son-in-law: Janice and Craig Taylor; a son: Johnathan Davis; one stepson: Tony L. Farmer; three special grandchildren: Gregory Davis, Rachel Davis, and Joshua Farmer; three great grandchildren: Hannah, Kaylee, and Devon Davis; one brother and sister-in-law: John and Susan Taylor; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; special friends: Crystal Arwood, Kendall Starcher, Clinton Davis, and Annie June Davis; a very special pet: Layla.
He was the son of the late Eugene and Virginia Sudsberry Taylor.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2011, in the Kiser Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Wayne Riddle officiating. Interment will follow at River Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearer will be Steve Burns.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home.
