He was a member of First Baptist Church and was an avid collector of planes. He also loved to read and was retired from Human Services.
He survived by special cousin, Austin Tweed as well as other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Neppie and Kenneth Bowers.
Per his request no formal services will be held.
