

Mr. Morgan was retired from American Greetings and was a member of Woods Memorial Free Will Baptist Church. He was U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Viet Nam Conflict and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
He was a good Christian man who loved gospel music and was kind to everyone.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years: Trula Morgan; three sons: Christopher Morgan, Frankie Morgan, and Jessie Morgan, all of Baileyton; three grandchildren: Patrick Morgan, Lauren Morgan, Jolee Morgan, all of Bulls Gap; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Jed Morgan, Timothy and Loretta Morgan; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Katherine Starnes, Nola Louise and Jack Hensley; brothers-in-law: J.W. Earley, Ellis Crawford, Clyde Mullins, Johnny Mullins, Bruce Holm; sisters-in-law: Judy Crawford, Roberta Mullins, Evelyn Morgan, Carol Holm; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was the son of the late Robert and Mary Morgan and was preceded in death by a daughter, Seprina Morgan, and several brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Darrell Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery at Baileyton. The Greeneville Greene County Honor Guard will conduct a military graveside service.
Pallbearers are Dusty Crawford, Joey Crawford, Anthony Morgan, James Byington, Dustin Manis, and Donnie Morgan.
