Predeceased by her loving husband, Dale. Cherished mom of Kevin (Lori), Anne (Mike) and Steven (Lynn). Grandma of Megan, Matthew, Hallie, Cody, Abby, and Ethan. Beloved sister of Carl (Marie) and sister‑in‑law of Graham. Predeceased by her parents Garnet and Esther, her in-laws Aden and Hilda and her sister-in-law Doris.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Personal Support Workers, Nurses, Doctors, and staff of both The Village of Arbour Trails and St. Joseph’s Health Centre of Guelph for their exceptional care and compassion throughout the past six years, during which Barb made her home in these special and supportive communities.
As per Barb’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service celebrating the lives of both Dale and Barbara will be held and announced at a later date.
In Memoriam, donations to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County in Barb’s memory would be deeply appreciated by the family.
