Ryan gave the world 29 years of goodness, kindness, laughter and love! He had an uncanny ability to leave lasting touchpoints with everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Ryan was a sensitive soul who cared deeply about all those around him. Whether he was watching a ball game and chatting with other fans, at the rink with his dad, sharing daily updates with his mom, exchanging witty barbs with anyone willing to take him on, or spending time with his friends and family, Ryan’s presence was filled with warmth, light and laughter!
Ryan had health challenges that were very difficult but he navigated it all with an incredible spirit. But none matched the past four months where his fortitude, courage and will were unsurpassed. His doctors described him as herculean and a true hero. He will forever be our hero!
Ryan is survived by his heartbroken parents, Scott and Coleen Driscoll, his beloved siblings, Danielle and Devon, his grandmother, Louise Ryan, his aunt Shelly Parker (Len) and uncle Jay Ryan (Mary), cousins and a large extended family who adored him. He was predeceased by his grandparents Pat Ryan and Ron and Karen Driscoll who deeply loved him.
Our deepest thanks is extended to the amazing doctors, nurses and staff of the MCICU and Transplant Unit at London Health Sciences - University Hospital for their incredible care over the past 3+ months. We hold an overwhelming amount of gratitude for the UH team especially Dr. Bosma, Nurses Rachel and Claire and MCICU Manager Candace, Nick DiRuzza and the Brantford paramedics, John Santana and the Toronto Blue Jays’ organization, the MLB umps, Jamie Campbell as well as the NHLOA - for gifting us the most magical evening in granting Ryan’s final wish. We also extend a special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Hospice Wellington for their constant compassion and kindness. And to our friends and family who have surrounded us with their love, care and support, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Love you to the moon and back; to infinity and beyond; forever and always Ry!
