Wayne will be reunited with his best friend and wife Nancy. He will be sorely missed by his mother Helen Barnard (predeceased Ralph Barnard). Loving stepfather to Jeramie King (Thuany Ruotolo), Tia Petrie and Sarah Shafer (Adam Bergeron). Proud grandfather to Jaden, Tegan and Sydney. Brother to Karen Guitard (Jeff).
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St Guelph, where the family will have a visitation to receive friends and family on Sunday, May 17 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will follow in the chapel at 2:00 PM. Interment in Arkell, Ontario will be held at a later date.
Wayne made friends wherever he went. He will be missed by former hockey teammates, coworkers from Cascade Corporation and Carelift Equipment as well as many friends from Sault Ste. Marie and Waterloo.
Wayne will also be forever cherished by his neighbourhood ‘Family’, enduring friends of frequented locales, and those who were special to him from his travels.
