Born in Toronto, she was the daughter of the late Phoebe and George Bleakley.
Elinor loved time with family and travelled between Toronto and Halifax until she moved to Halifax in 2006. She loved nature music and friends. The last 2 years she was a resident at Maplestone Enhanced Care.
The family would like to thank the staff who shared and cared for her at Maplestone and the Pastoral Care from Birch Cove Baptist Church.
Elinor is survived by daughters Kathryn (Les) Carrie and Carolyn Lomax. Dearly loved by her grandchildren: Jessica (Craig) Wournell, Nathan Carrie, Nicholas LaRamee, Dorothy Carrie and great-grandson Enzo LaRamee.
Arrangements are entrusted to J.A. Snow Funeral Home, Halifax. Service will be held at Birch Cove Baptist Church, 50 Donaldson Ave., Halifax on Saturday, December 8th at 11:00am.
