My heart sank when I received the news of your Mom's passing.

Aunt Anna was a one of a kind with a truly uplifting affect that I experienced every time I saw her.Most recently at the Baird family picnic this past August.  Always bright and cheerful in my memory.Her laugh is one thing I'll always cherish.

She was in St. John's Choir with us for years, and along with Jackie Lohnes, a most supportive and reliable attendee -moreso than ourselves. She was a  wonderful person.

A special word to Garry to say that, since we moved to Guysborough, we miss being greeted so warmly as we arrived at Church. We want you to know that we really appreciated that every Sunday.

Dean and I are so sadden by the passing of Anna.... We always think there is still plenty of time left to visit and be with people we care about... Lesson learned to not put off... We will miss knowing that her presence is no longer here and realize that a legend is gone but not forgotten... She will be happy in heaven with Fred now and will see all her friends and neighbors...She might even have a drink or two with Dad....

To all our Mounce and Baird cousins our family extends our heartfelt sympathy on Anna's passing. My father, Anna's uncle, John Baird, was a great admirer of hers. He spent many happy times enjoying the hospitality of his brother, Harold and wife Mae and their family after the loss of his parents, my grandparents, long before I was born. Anna and Fred ensured family was always a priority and were generous with their support, interest and love. We regret being out of the country prevents us from joining in the celebration of Anna's life. She followed in the footsteps of her mother and grandmother in her active interest and involvement with her church and no doubt will reap rewards for her good life
