

Murphy, Audrey-Ann C - 54, of Windsor passed away Thursday June 2, 2011 in QEII Health Sciences Center. Born in Kentville she was a daughter of Capt. Alvin (Retired) and Violet (Rafuse) Blair, Wolfville. Audrey-Ann was a graduate of Wolfville High School and attended Mount Saint Vincent University. She owned and operated Murphy's Candy Craft in Windsor for a number of years, and was Constituency Assistant for the Hon. Ron Russell MLA, and at the time of her death was Constituency assistant for the Hon. Scott Brison MP. Audrey-Ann was a past matron of Blomidon Chapter OES and held several grand offices. She was past president of the Windsor Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and Avon Skating Club. She is also survived by her husband of thirty-four years Graham; daughter Jessica Murphy-Tetanish and son in law Brett, Union Corner; sister Frances Robinson, Windsor and special aunt Audrey Rafuse, Hantsport. She is also survived by her aunts Pat Atkinson, Pointe Claire, Quebec and Helen (Caulis) Cummins, Caledonia, Ontario. Cremation has taken place, a private family gathering will be held at a later date. Audrey-Ann will be missed for her honesty, kindness and love of her cats and "the boys", Jeb, Gunni and Oz.
