

d’Entremont, Benjamin Ambrose, age 78 of Middle Sackville passed away January 15, 2013 in the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born in Yarmouth NS he was the son of Ambrose and Adele d’Entremont, L.E. Pubnico. He was a mechanic by trade. He worked for Atlantic Bridge in Lunenburg, Acadian Lines Bus Co, Haldart International and moved to Pubnico in 1972, and operated a garage in L.E. Pubnico. He also worked for d’Eons Bus Co and East Side Fisheries. He retired in 1999. He was an avid camper and loved the outdoor. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marie, daughters Karen d’Entremont and Cathy(Kevin)Dulong, son Gregory(Ruth Ann), sister Linda Mazier, Ottawa ON, and brothers Raymond(Etta), Ottawa, ON and Phillip(Georgina), Kingston, NS. He was predeceased by mother Adele, father Ambrose and brother Richard. A Memorial service will be held in St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 4 Beaverbank Rd. on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11am, Rev. Rob Arsenault officiating. Burial in Oakridge at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice. A special thank you to the nursing staff and doctors on the 8th floor for the excellent care Ben received while in hospital. Also, thank you to those who assisted the family at this difficult time.
