Bernadette Marie Graham

Graham, Bernadette “Bernie” Marie (née Francis) passed away peacefully at her home in Halifax on March 25, 2023 at the age of 76. Born in Milton she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Paul) Francis.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Dr. Charles H. Graham as well as her siblings, Gregory Francis, Grace Francis, Dolores Rhyno, Daniel Francis and her sister-in-law Bonnie Francis. Predeceased in infancy by sister Mary Jane and brother William Francis. Les Seymour, who passed away last year, was a special companion to Bernie who brought her much happiness.

She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her sister Theresa (Albert) and her brothers John (Janice), Stuart and Melbourne (Rachel) as well as her nephews and nieces.

Bernie made many lifelong friends in her years as a staff nurse, and later, as operating room supervisor and controller at the Victoria General Hospital. She was a proud member of the “Ol’ Broads” and she cherished all of her friendships. Her close friends Margaret Archibald and Ron MacQuarrie have brought her immense comfort in her final years.
