Born in Bateman, Saskatchewan, Bernie was the daughter of the late Philip and Caralina Klein and was very proud of her Austrian Heritage.
A loving sister to the late Mary, Herbert and Erwin Klein and is survived by her sisters, Elsie Stead and Ivy Andrie. She is also survived by two nieces and one nephew and will be dearly missed by all.
She was a dedicated member of the Eastern Star for 50 plus years and held a number of offices during this time. She was proud to say she never missed a meeting (unless out of town) and was always happy to be serving the community through this group. She was also a long time employee of H.H. Marshall Limited.
A loving mother to the late Charles Webb, who died at an early age but was forever in her heart and memory, and is survived by her two birth children Ross, the twin of Charles, and her daughter Linda. She dearly loved the children she raised as her own - Janet Peloso, Gerald Sorochan, Lionel Cain, Kurtis Bennett. She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her family. She was also a very proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren, all of whom, were loved immensely and very dear to her heart.
A memorial service will be hosted at J.A. Snow Funeral Home on 339 Lacewood Drive, Clayton Park, on Saturday, December 28, 2013 as follows:
Visitation from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.; Memorial Service at 11:00 immediately followed by a Luncheon with a committal service for family and friends following at Pleasantview Cemetery in Lower Sackville.
