Bailey, Beryl (Bea), born in Ireland in 1925, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2024.

She was a twin daughter of the late John and Anne Featherstone and the last surviving member of her family. She was predeceased by her twin sister Joyce (Featherstone) Saunders and her brother Desmond Featherstone.
Beryl was a past president of the Northwood Players and a founding member of the British Isles club.
She has donated her body to Dalhousie Human Body Donation Program in the hope that through research, she can assist others to enjoy life a little bit longer. Her remains will be cremated at a later date.
Friends of Beryl will remember her fondly as being a very gracious and elegant lady. She had an infectious smile and a witty sense of humor. Bea was an avid animal lover, devoted to her beautiful cats who made up her feline family. In her final years, Bea cherished stuffed toys that likely reminded her of her cats. Her last cat, Kym, has been lovingly adopted by a close family friend to live out his life in the style and comfort that Bea would have wanted.
Beryl's friends would like to take the opportunity to thank the staff at Seton Way, Parkstone for the wonderful care Bea received. A memorial service for Beryl will take place on Saturday, June 8 at 10am at Snow's Funeral Home on Lacewood Drive. In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Bea and her love for cats may be made to any cat rescue group.
